Battleship

In the Battle Ship game the goal is to sink the opponent ship before the opponent sinks you. The ships however could be anywhere and all the opponent can do is make educated guesses.

Now let the opponent as say "Goliath: and you as a standard human.
And instead of a simple set-up of each side having equal side ships, each character accumulates skills and attributes over the life time which may have the impact of
- having more power i.e. more ships
- developing ways of distracting the opponent
- barrier protection i.e. stronger ships

Can you ever learn too much tatics that your performance is impacted. How many chances do you have before your ships are sunk ?
